At ABS, we strive to provide the best quality training experience for every athlete. To maintain consistent class sizes, coaching focus, and safety standards, we have a clear and fair make-up class policy.

No Make-Up Classes for Missed Sessions

There are no make-up classes for missed or forfeited sessions. This includes absences due to vacations, school events, sickness, or emergencies.

Our coaches, space, and class plans are reserved for every scheduled class, and the session continues whether or not a student attends. Allowing rolling make-ups after the fact creates scheduling challenges and affects the consistency of our training groups.

Pre-Planned Absences

If you know in advance that your child will be away (for travel, camps, or other commitments), please let us know before the start of the month when you register.

• We can then plan accordingly and, if possible, arrange alternate class options within that same month.

• Once the month has begun, schedules are locked in and cannot be changed.

Why This Policy Exists

This policy ensures:

• Consistency – classes run smoothly with the same group of students, allowing progress and confidence to build.

• Fairness – every family follows the same rules.

• Quality – coaches can focus on development rather than juggling substitutions.

• Safety – proper student-to-coach ratios are maintained at all times.

Exceptions

The only exceptions to this policy are gym closures or cancellations initiated by ABS Gymnastics & Circus (for example, instructor illness or weather-related facility closures). In those rare cases, a make-up session or credit will be offered.
