What You’ll Learn:

  1. Proper Form and Technique:
    • Understand the mechanics of the back handspring, from the initial take-off to the final landing. We’ll break down each movement step-by-step, ensuring you develop strong, safe, and efficient techniques.
  2. Injury Prevention:
    • Learn essential safety practices to protect your spine, wrists and ankles while executing a back handspring.  These joints are vulnerable when executing the back handspring incorrectly so it’s very important to start the tumbling journey correctly. We’ll focus on strengthening key muscle groups and maintaining proper alignment to minimize the risk of injury.
  3. Speed and Power Generation:
    • Discover drills and exercises that will help you build the explosive power needed for a smooth and dynamic back handspring. You’ll learn how to harness momentum and control your body throughout the entire motion.
  4. At-Home Exercises:
    • Practice doesn’t stop at the gym! We’ll provide you with a set of exercises that you can do at home to continue building the strength, flexibility, and muscle memory needed to master your back handspring.
