Roshan Amendra

Training Specialist

Roshan Amendra (Rosh) is the founder & director of ABS Training Centre.

Rosh trained to the highest level possible in gymnastics, starting at the young age of 6 years old. He went on to compete with Team Canada and has traveled the globe performing on many stages.

He is well known in the industry as an international acrobat, break dancer, aerialist, and stuntman.

Rosh is a certified coach. What makes him unique, is his passion for building a strong foundation within the training. He has a natural gift, focusing his attention on the unique and distinctive movement patterns of each of his students.

He has extensive experience with biomechanics, the study of structure, function, the mobility of the body. This is beneficial for all humans and their physical wellbeing, and more of a necessity for athletes and performers of any type, including dancers, acrobats, gymnasts.

Rosh custom designs his programs and training systems. They are designed to condition the nervous system, making the conditioning more hard-wired, optimizing benefits and minimizing injuries. The brain becomes conditioned with best practices. He also works with each individual student to have their mental attitude compliment their physical training. This combination is conducive to a healthy practice.

Rosh has a very zen-like coaching style and philosophy. He is patient, kind, hardworking and extremely determined. He has worked with previously injured students that have been turned away from other therapists/coaches and trained them to heal and manage their injuries, and then go on and follow their dream of performing. He does the same with children that have been diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Autism, to name a few. The program’s benefits run much deeper than physical ability and tricks.

His motto is…

“Bring your passion, your deep desire to learn, dedication and discipline. Leave the rest to me. We will work together in transforming your world.”
